Dorian & Daniel tell exquisite stories. Advertising creativity – and now Mercedes as well as Johnnie Walker, Volvo, Cafe Royal, Tiger beer, Migros, Tipico, Nivea and Ancestry also – are lucky that they do it their world. The German duo grabbed the filmmaking spotlight in 2015 when they wrote and directed a spec ad, Dear Brother, for Johnnie Walker while they were film student. The ad was so good that the brand ran it. The ad was so remarkable that won the Gold Clio in the Student category the following year.
Their newest work is for Mercedes, to highlight its new infotainment system, MBUX . The film is called Endless Love and it contains their hallmark ingredients, surprise (aka, masterful manipulation of the storytelling) and magnificent visuals. It’s the story of connection between lovers, strong enduring connection. Yes, the pair have also underlined the MBUX promise while giving heartstrings a squeeze that viewers won’t forget quickly.
