Clemenger BBDO Melbourne continues to refill its creative department after Meet Graham fame triggered the departure of several of its stars, including then-CCO Ant Keogh.
The agency has just lured Gavin Chimes as a senior copywriter from Marcel Sydney, where he was an associate creative director. He was part of Marcel’s founding team and lead creative for the agency’s global Tiger Beer account.
Chimes was Australasian Creative of the Year at AWARD awards in 2017, and has won awards at Cannes Lions, D&AD and Spikes for his work on Tiger Air-Ink, Tiger Trading Co. and Dry Dock Beer.
He was also part of David Nobay’s creative team at Droga5 Sydney and prior to that worked at M&C Saatchi and JayGrey. His experience covers major clients such as Qantas, OPSM and American Express.
