Want to hear what WPP founder, Sir Martin Sorrell, and Bartle Bogle Hegarty founder, Sir John Hegarty, know about navigating a creative business through the now and future jungle out there? Of course you do.
If you’re in London next month, that opportunity is coming to you. Both will appear in keynote sessions at Creativepool’s second annual trade event, Connect:, November 21 -22. Once again, Connect: will bring the creative community together for two days of industry talks across themes such as advertising, tech, design, innovation and creativity, and to view distinctive products and services in the event’s exhibition spaces at the Boiler House in The Old Truman Brewery. Building on the success of Creativepool’s one-day festival last year, this year’s event has more speakers, sessions and attendees across a larger space at the Boiler House.
Sorrell will headline a keynote on day one in a Q&A called Better, Faster, More Efficient, where he will discuss his plans on shifting the industry structure and the future of advertising. Hegarty will appear in a fireside chat called Liberating the Creative Voice, joined by Neil Waller, co-founder and chief executive officer of marketing agency, Whalar, where they will discuss the democratisation of creativity due to recent technological advancement.
Other Connect: London highlights include sessions on mixed reality, artificial intelligence, brand IP, blockchain, neuro-creativity and more, with agencies such as Cheil Group, Ogilvy One, McCann, Mr President, Y&R and ZAK confirmed. Brands appearing include adidas, New Balance, Ford, The Co-Op, Superdrug and John Lewis with Facebook and Vice.
The two days will culminate with the famous Pool Party wrap event. You can buy tickets here. connect-london.com
