For all those clients and agency people who think creatives are children, here’s a campaign you’ll love. FCB Brasil has created an animated kindergarten song, Resist, to invite audiences to the 2019 Brazilian Creative Club Festival, September 21-23, in Sao Paulo.
Resist highlights the importance of not settling for comfortable solutions during the creative process. Beware: like all songs aimed at children, it will get in your head and stay there.
According to the media release, “Deadline pressures and everyday frustrations can lead us to do more of the same, to revisit old references and even do something that has been done before.
“It’s essential to resist these easy and tempting situations, which can appear to simplify the process but don’t necessarily lead to the best work,” noted Fabio Simões, creative executive director FCB Brasil.
The film was directed by art director, illustrator and animator, Lucas Camargo. The music track is by audio production company, Evil Twin.
The campaign is running on the Creative Club website and social networks, as well as in universities, advertising agencies and newspapers, and will include animations, posters, ads, digital OOH, email marketing and online posts. Its materials will also be shown at the event itself.
