Harmon Brothers has an interesting ad history. It’s the agency behind Squatty Potty and Poo-Pourri’s…um, interesting additions to the world’s ad creativity. (Note: Squatty Potty’s first ad has had more than 37 million views. Don’t you wish your campaigns were hot like that.)
It’s also the agency for Lumē natural deodorant and the brand’s new digital and social commercial is an extravaganza. It’s a musical-product demo-testimonial spot that’s three-and-a-half minutes long. It has cheesy lyrics like, “You want a way to not be fumy/Come my friends you need Lume, and it’s not afraid to go where other brands have never dared to venture – and probably never will.
Essentially, it is billing itself as the deodorant for everywhere – in the least charming, but possibly most compelling, way possible. If this ad is not a viral hit, the internet is a lot weirder than we think.
The Harmon Brothers’ first spot for Lumē has achieved more than 70 million views in a year.
