Independent creative agency, B.B.E., has just gained part of Australia’s most famous brand (albeit no longer manufacturing in Australia). The agency has won the social media account for Holden AUNZ following a pitch. B.B.E will join Holden’s existing agency roster with The Monkeys, Special Group, AJF Partnership, Carat and Isobar.
The agency will manage the planning and execution of social advertising content for the brand, and has just completed the social video assets to support AJF’s recent This is How we SUV campaign. It will also lead community management.
For Holden, a key aspect of the partnership involves executing tactics that improve market sentiment, something B.B.E has been working on vigorously since taking over the account. This has contributed to a 35% decrease in negative sentiment.
Tim Evans – strategy director, B.B.E, commented, “The opportunity to work with a brand as cherished and iconic as Holden is both exciting and daunting. Every Australian has an opinion on the brand, and it’s our job to channel that energy positively.”
Bianca Mundy – general manager – digital marketing and loyalty, Holden, added, “We’re pleased to be working with B.B.E. We knew that by choosing them, we’d be getting agility and smarts. Since joining forces, the team has completely overhauled our community management strategy — taking a bold, unapologetic approach. We look forward to maintaining this momentum over the coming months.”
This is the agency’s first big win since it acquired video production agency, Media Creatures, in December 2018. The agency has grown to 50 staff members across both Sydney and Melbourne offering services in PR, content, creative, social, digital, technology and video production.
