Justin Hind, founder of WiTH Collective will become chief executive officer of CHE Proximity, succeeding Chris Howatson in January 2021.
Howatson announced his departure two weeks ago. He has formed a new agency, Howatson + White, with CHEP chief creative officer, Ant White, who has also resigned. Howatson will stay at CHEP until the end of February.
Hind co-founded WiTH Collective with Dominique Hind in 2011 but began his career at Clemenger Proximity, within the Clemenger Group to which he is now returning. The agency was bought by the Dentsu Aegis Network in September 2016. Eight months later, WiTH Collective was absorbed into Isobar group and both Justin Hind, who was chief executive officer of WiTH and Dominique Hind, who was chief operating officer, left the agency.
Hind will be supported by the CHE Proximity leadership team of Andrew Drougas, Renee Hyde, Martin Griffin, David Halter, Mark Gretton, Michelle Brooks, James Greaney, Nicole Flinton-Ferraro, Glen Dickson, Cameron Hoelter, Helen James and Mike Deane.
Howatson has headed CHEP since he joined in 2012.
