Martin Werner’s film for Interflora is mesmerising. It’s a sequence of flowers withering in time-lapse that underlines a voiceover message about loneliness, which asks people to take care of one another.
The campaign was created by &Co, a response by Interflora to the loneliness that seems to go with modern life and has been exacerbated for several age groups by Covid’s social restrictions.

The Danish flower delivery network collaborated on the campaign with three organisations that deal with on loneliness, Psykiatrifonden, Folkebevægelsen Mod Ensomhed, Børns Vilkår, and has launched a gilded flower pin from which all benefits will be donated to the fight against loneliness.

The shoot, directed by Werner and produced by Bacon, involved more than 50 flowers and cameras rolled with time-lapse shooting non-stop for seven weeks. A voiceover explains how both flowers and people need attention and nurturing, while beautiful and oddly dramatic images of crumbling flowers allow the film to trigger a visceral response.
The Remember One-Another Flower is designed by Danish singer and X Factor judge, Oh Land.
