Ikea is encouraging people to renew their friendship with their home. That’s not really anything new for Ikea, which has been promoting the importance of family life for many years but the COVID-19 commercial by McCann Spain has extra relevance (let’s call it emotive powers) now.
The film encourages everyone to see their home from a new perspective and view it as a place for enjoying experiences together. It’s also a rallying cry to stay sane and happy at home.
