October 8 was World Octopus Day, a special day for MullenLowe Group. You know why.
MullenLowe wants octopi to survive and we human beings are not helping that to happen.
So to celebrate the day, the Group has created a limited-edition collection of clothing, #MLGTees4Seas to raise awareness of plastic pollution.
The clothing will be sold exclusively online for eight days from October 8 2020. All profits will be donated to non-profit organisation, Plastic Oceans International, so people can make a contribution to saving our oceans and the marine life within them.
#MLGTees4Seas can be purchased here and will be available online only from October 8 to October 16.
Last year for World Octopus Day, MullenLowe Group created an arcade game, Coral Greef in which players could put their challenger mentality to the test and help the Group’s surfing octopus and Sandy the crab remove as much plastic as they could from the ocean. For every high score shared, MullenLowe Group donated US$5 to Plastic Oceans International so players could make a real contribution to saving our oceans. The campaign raised over US$6,000 for the organisation.
