October 8 is World Octopus Day – the international day of MullenLowe’s logo.
MullenLowe couldn’t let that pass without acknowledgement and while doing so it plans to do something good for the world.
The agency has created a game called Coral Greef to help save our oceans and the wildlife within them – a race against the clock game in which players put their challenger mentality to the test to remove as much plastic as they can from the sea.
Players are encouraged to share their high score using the social media icons at the end of the game. For every score that’s shared, MullenLowe Group will donate US$5 to Plastic Oceans International so that players can make a real contribution to saving our oceans.
How to play:
- MullenLowe Coral Greef’s website
- Help our Octopus and Sandy the crab remove as much plastic from the ocean by using the on-screen buttons or arrows on your keyboard. Drop a rescue bubble with your spacebar to break up the mounds of plastic for maximum clean-up.
- Record your high score and share it with your friends using the social media icons at the end of the game.
