The thrill of unwrapping a new purchase or gift is in all of us. It may last only for a minute but it has been ingrained in our psyches since we were very, very little. It’s not going to go fade. Photoshop Playtime director, Dropbear, has captured that thrill in a stop-frame animation for Innocean Worldwide and client, OpenShop.
OpenShop is Australia’s new 24-hour shopping channel and three online shopping platforms by The Australian Shopping Network in a broadcast agreement with the Seven Network. The channel broadcasts to Australia’s five capital cities and some areas of regional Queensland.
Dropbear, aka Jonathan Chong, is a designer and filmmaker who developed his unique visual style in music videos. Creating magnificent stop-motion creations is half of his story. Creating spectacular visual narratives is the other.
Remember the Australian Government’s Earned Here, Taxed Here commercials by BMF? They were Dropbear and Photoplay’s work.
