In 2017 Parisian agency, Romance, launched a new international creative platform, You are already a great poker player, for online cardroom, PokerStars. The creative was a humorous portrayal of what goes on inside the head of a poker player. That idea, Poker Faces, now has a sibling, Bros. In Bros, the hero triumphs over that mate who is a serial bluffer.
“Lots of creative territories have already been explored in the market for online poker, and it’s a tremendous opportunity to be in a position to renew the genre, especially with such a brand as powerful as PokerStars,” noted Alexandre Hervé, co-founder and executive creative director of Romance.
The international campaign will roll out in 11 countries, including France, the UK and the US:
Like the campaign’s previous films, the new ad was directed by Rudi Rosenberg who again has proven his knack for casting. (The audition process requiring a slew of actors to make weird faces.)
