At the end of a year in which hate festered and spread virulently, slushy commercials like Saatchi & Saatchi’s Yellow Paper are a good thing. They’re a catalyst for the world to stop, think and hopefully reboot.
The spot was directed by Sean Meehan of Arts & Sciences. You will cry. That’s a good thing too:
The 90-second spot premiered during NBC’s Sunday Night Football’s Thanksgiving Special and will be shown during NBC’s primetime special, Christmas in Rockefeller Center, on December 4. It will then run in 30-second and 60-second cutdowns until January 2m supported by cinema, December 13 to 26.
