Great nights inevitably live on in a WhatsApp group chat. It has become the ultimate archive of legendary stories that end up disappearing into oblivion and being forgotten forever.
Until now. Serviceplan Campaign International, Plan.Net and Beck’s have created an app, The Heroes of the Night, that enables every chat history to be turned into an original, personalised comic, while also underlining Beck’s proposition, You make it legendary.
More than 300 frames were created exclusively for the app by comic illustrator, Matthias Schardt. Each individual comic can be saved and shared. The Heroes of the Night app transforms every member of a group chat into a comic character. Up to ten different characters are available. Background scenes and other features may also be adapted individually. The app may be downloaded for free from the Apple store.
Serviceplan Campaign International, the beer brand’s agency of choice, and Plan.Net Campaign were responsible for the idea, concept development and production of the app.

The user-generated comics may be saved as an image file or PDF and shared on all social media platforms.
