A quirky campaign featuring a quirky Hollywood star. Squarespace’s Super Bowl spot, Calling JohnMalkovich.com, created by Squarespace and creative agency, JohnXHammes, has won the 2017 Emmy Award for Outstanding Commercial at the Creative Arts Emmys.
The 30 second spot for Squarespace was a spin off from its 3 minute film promoting Malkovich’s foray into fashion design.

There were five nominees this year. The other four were:
- R/GA and the Ad Council achieved two nominations, one for Love Cam and the other for We Are America.
The pair took out last year’s Emmy, with Love has No Labels’ skeleton spot.
