EPIC is the museum of why the Irish are Irish and what they have done with their Irish-ness throughout the world. The Irish Emigration Museum was named Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction in the 2019 World Travel Awards, with its stories of Irish emigrants who became scientists, politicians, poets, artists and outlaws all over the world. With its reopening on June 29 after lockdown, agency, The Public House, was given the job of attracting the Irish public, recently freed from isolation but still unable to travel overseas for the summer holidays.
Rather than take the expected “intellectual” approach, The Public House, opted for fun. In its campaign, other tourist attractions are green with envy (literally) because they can’t compete with EPIC’s popularity.
The full campaign covers press, radio, outdoor, digital and social media.
