On January 5, a new Instagram account, Eugene the Egg, appeared with a single post. It’s intention, the account owner stated, was to challenge Kylie Jenner’s 18.7 million Likes record for most achieved on an Instagram post.
It did. So far, that post has 52.3 million Likes. And there have been five more posts – just of Eugene, some slightly cracked and one, promising Eugene’s big reveal would happen on Hula after the Super Bowl, decked out like a football.
The reveal has happened. Instagram star, Eugene the Egg, is not an egg. He’s a creative at The&Partnership.
