The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire, one of the most exhilarating and brutal times in the history of humanity, is being brought to life by The History Channel in its documentary series, Colosseum.
The promo is anything but brutal. Its wonderfully, subtly, magnetically humorous. The campaign, created in-house at the History Channel and produced by Valiant Pictures, “interviews’ an overlooked and little-known employee at the arena, Gaius Falco, the head groundskeeper. He shares some interesting behind-the-scenes details of his job. In the two promos he notes, for example, that he likes to “repurpose the leftovers” and warns to steer clear of the hyena,“it’s very gamey”.
