Two hero films by isobel, created entirely in CGI, use visual metaphors to demonstrate the simple idea that JET is here to help drivers get back on the road. The first film features a retro blue convertible as it glides along a picture-perfect countryside road on a sun-drenched afternoon. Inside the car sit four large yellow balloon “passengers”, which gradually begin to deflate as the car continues its journey. Then, as the car passes through a JET service station, they immediately re-inflate. In the second film, the “passengers” are giant light bulbs that dim and illuminate as the convertible passes through a JET service station.
The new ideas continue Jet’s Keep on Moving campaign.
The films were directed by the Perlorian Brothers with the production company, MJZ and use original music created for the campaign. They will launch nationwide for the first time on Sky AdSmart VOD, linear, YouTube and social, as the inaugural executions for a wider series of activations over the year including social and digital.
“After the success of the original Keep on Moving campaign, we wanted to retain JET’s core message but with a new spin,” stated Simon Findlater, creative director, isobel. “Using visual metaphors and the brands iconic blue and yellow palette, we aimed to focus in on the role JET plays in helping facilitate road journeys as a driver-first business.”
Áine Corkery, manager, Brand, UK Marketing, for Jet owner, Phillips 66 Limited, added, “With this campaign, we really wanted to celebrate the joy of driving for all drivers, while at the same time demonstrating that JET is focused on helping drivers to Keep on Moving. It achieves both perfectly, and all while using the JET brand colour palette – yellow and blue. We’re very proud to share it with the world and to kick off what will be a major campaign for us.”
The new work is running for six weeks.
