It has been a big week for Kevin the Carrot. On Tuesday he proposed to Katie, in Love Actually fashion.
…and wedding plans are underway. But as we all know by now – this is Kevin’s 10th Aldi Christmas – things are not going to go perfectly. McCann Manchester has dreamed up a stag party catastrophe. Kevin, last seen strapped to the North Pole in a mankini, goes missing. Kevin’s best man, Kelvin the Carrot, faces the unenviable task of making the dreaded call to Katie.
It’s 100 humour, chaotic mischief and high-action drama as usual. And a cliff hanger to keep the UK invested. Brits are being encouraged to stay tuned and make sure they don’t miss the third and final commercial to discover if Kevin and Katie will make it to the altar with additional social, PR, OOH, and media activations, including a range of exclusive, limited-edition ‘Carrot’ gold engagement rings available to shoppers via a free competition and a creative influencer gifting send-out to influencers by Clarion Communications; plus ‘leaked’ messages, images, and voice notes from Kevin’s “stag do group chat” across Aldi’s social channels, created by McCann Content Studios in Manchester.
There are also cinema placements at Wicked 2 and Zootropolis 2 showings, arragned by Starcom, and the Carrot Uncut gossip takeover including a Hello! front page cover, a ‘papped’ feature in New!, and advertorials across Closer, Heat and Bella.

Finally, a TikTok Countdown Sticker and Instagram Reminder Ads allow users to count down until Kevin’s potential big day, and in the next phase of the partnership with ITV Creative, Scarlett Moffatt brings the Tasty Gossip to social media with new posts.
