AAMI is calling out to everyone with an athlete in the making – it’s lucky you’re with AAMI. Young athletes’ ambitions and inventiveness sometimes exceed their abilities – especially when athlete fandom is running high. (Yes, it’s another campaign making the most of Olympics captivation). The new campaign by Ogilvy, puts a new spin on its promise, Lucky you’re with AAMI, and a very quirky spin on insurance advertising.
Athletes in the Making is the second execution in the new AAMI brand campaign, that launched in March.
The new execution is running across TV, BVOD, cinema, social, radio, Spotify, and OOH.
Ogilvy Australia, ECD, Hilary Badger, stated, “Kids love pretending to be their favourite sporting heroes. Especially when the world’s biggest sporting event is about to happen. Realistically, though, they don’t have the silky skills of their heroes. But when things when go wrong, the parents of Australia can take comfort if they’re covered with AAMI.”
AAMI’s head of brand & content, Rapthi Thanapalasingam, added, “At a time when most of Australia will be unified around supporting our athletes, we want to reinforce how Australia’s leading national insurer is there to support our little athletes in the making when things don’t quite go to plan.”
