It looks like a movie. A suspenseful movie about an archaeological quest, an action movie about a Viking battle, a horror movie about a haunted house.
But wait for the jolt. Each “movie” makes an abrupt change in its middle.
The three cinematic films are commercials for Stellantis Group used car network, Spoticar, and agency, 777(Herezie and Armando Testa), in partnership with Very Content (La Pac), have made sure that viewers take notice of the message. Don’t be brave, be smart reinterprets major cinematic genres and the archetype of the courageous hero to emphasise that, in real life, and especially when purchasing a used car, it’s not about bravery, but rather confidence and peace of mind.
The campaign underscores that the real challenge isn’t bravery, but trust and Spoticar’s certified network and guaranteed label, makes purchasing a used vehicle a smart, simple, and reassuring decision.

Don’t be brave, be smart was directed by Tom Green [Misfits, Monsters 2: The Dark Continent], who brought his experience in genre films to anchor the campaign in cinematic storytelling while cleverly subverting its conventions.
The campaign also unveils Spoticar’s new tagline, Used Car, Reinvented, highlight the network’s innovative positioning in the used car market. It launched on April 6 in France and Italy, and will roll out across 14 countries in Europe and beyond.
