Canada’s Porter Airlines is known for proving that premium experiences don’t have to come with extravagant price tags. It makes economy flying feel considered rather than a compromise with luxury details from no middle seats on many planes to complimentary drinks served in glassware.
Its new campaign hightlights the airline’s attention to details and owns its luxe feel distinctiveness. I Only Fly Economy doesn’t lead with an evocative TVC. The campaign, I Only Fly Economy, by Toronto independent creative agency, Academy, leads, not with a film but a two-sweater collection – the Cabin Crewneck and Mr. Porter’s Cabin Crewneck. The sweaters retail for CAD$130. Presale is live now on porter20.com, while quantities last.
“Porter has spent 20 years flying with style, care and charm, and all three of these characteristics are grounded in the attention to detail passengers know and love us for,” stated Kevin Jackson, president, Porter Airlines. “The crewneck represents the feeling of flying in comfort with Porter, which is why we chose to work with Kuwalla Tee as a highly-regarded Canadian brand. Stating I only fly economy is a counterintuitive claim for our passengers who appreciate little luxuries and recognise that premium experiences don’t have to come with extravagant price tags.”

The Porter 20th Birthday Limited Edition Collection
Alongside the crewneck, Porter is releasing a collection of items passengers have been asking for:
- Mr. Porter Plushy: Porter’s raccoon mascot in ultra-soft fabric, 9.5″ x 5″ and built for hugging. $28.99 CAD, plus applicable taxes and delivery fees
- Embraer E195-E2 Collector’s Model Aircraft: A sleek 1:100 scale mini-me of Porter’s crowd-pleasing jet. Crafted to showcase every line of the E2, it comes with its own stand to display proudly. $109.99 CAD, plus applicable taxes and delivery fees
- Commemorative Cap: A travel day must-have featuring the iconic raccoon brand mascot embroidered on the front (hello, Mr. Porter) and an official holographic collector’s mark. $44.99 CAD, plus applicable taxes and delivery fees

The collaboration extends Porter’s The Little Things brand platform, launched in 2025, also with Academy, which celebrates the thoughtful details that set its economy experience apart. “For 20 years, Porter has shown that flying economy doesn’t have to feel like a compromise,” stated Sabrina Babooram, partner and head of strategy, Academy. “With I Only Fly Economy, we’re turning that experience into a statement of preference, not price. It’s about being proud of choosing an airline that delivers the little things that matter, and giving passengers a way to express that choice beyond the flight itself.”
The 20th Birthday Limited Edition Collection is available exclusively on porter20.com, while quantities last. Shipping for this collection and the Cabin Crewneck begins mid-November, in time for the holidays.
