What an awesome episode in the Waitrose Christmas campaign, Too Good To Wait.
Waitrose and John Lewis have never done a Christmas ad together, but the two sibling retailers are trying to get people to align their brands more closely this year. Christmas is the perfect chance to give that a push in the right direction and so the Waitrose Christmas ad collection of six ads, in which people fast forward through things to get to Waitrose’ food, has a launched its third edition. This time, a family fast-forwards through the John Lewis ad to get to a Waitrose stollen.
There’s also a little dig at John Lewis’ Elton John ad – the father mentions that he prefers “the ad with the penguin”.
