There are classic stories that need to be told again and again. The world needs them to be real. This is one of those, into which adam&eveDDB has given Virgin Media a pivotal role. It’s a story about trying to belong, finding an ally when you fail and being encouraged to conquer fear and try again. The commercial also shows, and in very clever way, social media being used for good. Watch:

The film comes from Virgin Media research around inclusivity in skating communities. Its protagonist, Aamira, is part of a community in London called Melanin Skate Gals & Pals, which aims to give a voice to marginalised communities.
