”We are living and working in the most creative moment ever, and the opportunities to pull the emotional strings of people, to create great work that’s good for the world, have never been as great as today.”
John C. Jay, president of global creative for Uniqlo, believes that design is the main ingredient in the solution to almost all of our problems and that while technology will make our lives better it is not a replacement for craft. Jay outlines his vision of the future in a video that addresses the ADC 97th Annual Awards program theme, Where Craft Will Take Us.
Prior to his current role, Jay was Global Executive Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy and is a One Club for Creativity Creative Hall of Fame laureate.
Jay’s video is part of the series on craft that The One Club for Creativity is creating ahead of the ADC Awards during Creative Week, May 7-11.
