Sorbent toilet tissue doesn’t have a fluffy puppy. Coy euphemisms have never been its thing; the brand has always been a little more direct in communicating what it’s about. Now with new agency, Akkomplice, on board, the brand’s humour and its directness have both gone up a delightfully giant notch.
Akkomplice has brought Sorbent back to Australian screens with the promise that the brand is Behind Every Great Australian and a 60-second spot whose humour features actual toilets and moments of relatable need captured by Sweetshop director, Trevor Clarence.
The work is the first for Sorbent from Akkomplice after it was appointed lead strategic and creative partner following a competitive pitch.
