A handful of times every day, men stand still staring at the wall in front of them. If you want to get men’s attention, stick your message on a urinal wall. This is exactly what AMV BBDO and Guinness Clear have done at the six-week Guinness Six Nations Rugby Championship.
Their posters are also placed in what is a traditional stopover on the way to the bar at events.
Each poster explains the benefits of alternating Guinness Clear with regular Guinness. The copy is wonderful. Advertising copywriting is no longer given the respect it merits. Its powers are no longer appreciated. This copy deserves to change that.
