“Have you ever tried to schmooze someone judging your work?”, “As a black belt, have you ever fantasised about sweeping a client’s legs?” and “Does winning an Andy help in recruiting top talent?” The Andy Awards and R/GA have strapped seven top creatives to a lie detector. Of course, you want to know both the questions and the answers. What you won’t expect is an offer from the Andys at the end that validates the power of its awards.

The film debuts ahead of the International ANDY awards entries closing date, March 1. Industry Leaders in the film include:
- Susan Fowler Credle – Global Chair, Global CCO, FCB
- Bianca Guimaraes – Partner & ECD, Mischief
- Chris Beresford-Hill – NA President and CCO, Oglivy
- Tom Murphy – CCO, NA, Wunderman Thompson
- PJ Pereira – CCO and Co-Founder, Pereira O’Dell
- Jaime Robinson – Co-Founder and CCO, JOAN Creative
- Tiffany Rolfe – Global CCO, R/GA

And the offer? The ANDYs has added a new promise to the entry’s official rules – Win Early, It Pays Off. Both internal and external research done have shown that 90% of ANDY winners go on to win at other major shows such as One Show, D&AD and Cannes Lions. This year, the organisation is betting on the statistics. Winners of the ANDYs who do not subsequently win at least one other major award in the industry will be granted free entry for 2024.
“We want the community to appreciate the significance of the ANDY Awards and what it means in the award show landscape,” stated Gina Grillo, president and chief executive officer of The Advertising Club of NY + International ANDY Awards. “Our goal continues to be to recognise excellence in the work and highlight the people doing the best work. It’s great to see the range of work submitted year after year, and if the Super Bowl is any indication, I’m happy to say creativity is alive and well as we continue to honour the brightest creative work in the industry.”

In parallel, this past November, The AD Club announced its partnership with R/GA as global chief creative officer, Tiffany Rolfe, became global jury chair of The International ANDY Awards, in addition to the release of chairman and chief executive officer of R/GA, Bob Greenberg’s Inspiration Series interview, which was created and produced by Rick Boyko, former chief creative officer Ogilvy North America and former director of the VCU Brandcenter in partnership with the Club/ International ANDY Awards.
“Winning at the Andys is something all creatives aspire to in their careers,” Tiffany Rolfe stated. “And this film, amusement and all, is meant to showcase that the Andys is where the best ideas are surfaced by the biggest creative leaders in our industry. ANDYs is a predictor for what’s to come in the awards season. And that’s no lie.”
