There is a point in your life when you look back on the past with fondness. It’s not when you’re in your 20s or 30s, but Chevy is targeting an older audience in its US holiday commercial – and Anomaly doing it with real understanding.

Memory Lane is the simple story of an empty nester couple travelling to the family cabin (in their 1987 Chevy Suburban), the fifth edition of the brand’s Holiday Card to America campaign, that shares heartfelt stories of family, traditions and a family’s trusty old Chevrolet. As they drive, locations they pass trigger flashbacks of the same road trip over the years – which the audience gets to share. It’s an emotional journey for both protagonists and audience across the 3.20 minute film, that Park Pictures director, Lance Acord has adeptly brought into play.
A 60-second cut of the film will make its debut during the Thanksgiving Day football broadcast on Fox. GM will also launch its Chevy Holiday Magic campaign on December 1, a five-city event series powered by a caravan of Silverado EV pickups, covering 4,800 kilometres, visiting San Diego, Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, and Detroit, and highlighting the truck’s 800 kilometre range and impressive charging performance.
