Do we care who has the thinner tablet as much as the two rivals do?
In October, last year Apple used a pencil to show how thin its iPad is – 7.5mm thin, in fact.
So in February this year, Samsung, used a pencil and an iPad to show that the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is thinner – 7.3mm, in fact.
Much ado about .2mm? (Measure it)
Fast forward to October 16. Apple launches iPad Air 2. At 6.1 mm thick, it’s 18% thinner than its predecessor. (It also weighs just 425 grams).
But what matters is the game of my tablet’s thinner than your tablet. The pencil stars again.
