The fun of Halloween horror has been hacked by Belgian ad agency, at-thetable, and animal rights organisation, GAIA, for a brilliant carpe diem. The partners have played into the magnetic powers of horror at Halloween to highlight animal suffering.
They have released a series of three OOH ads in the style of movie posters with the headline, Not all horror is fiction. The horror posters are based on real life horrors: animal testing, pig castration without anaesthesia, and force-feeding in the production of foie gras. The posters highlight the fact that while horror is a fun diversion for people around Halloween, it is real daily life for many animals.
The posters were illustrated and animated in the typical atomic age horror style by King Rat Artwork and being displayed in OOH, DOOH, newspapers and social media.
