This year, AWARD Award winners will be revealed via a live-streamed virtual show following the cancellation of the traditional awards due to COVID-19.

They will be announced this Friday June 12 at 3.00pm AEST.

Cam Blackley, AWARD chair, stated, “It seems like a lifetime ago when we had to call off this year’s AWARD Awards show, but finally we’re getting to the pointy end of proceedings and almost ready to unveil the best of the best.

“The virtual show on Friday is a great op to grab a drink, watch the best work in the region rise and celebrate with a few cheeky social posts.”

The virtual AWARD Awards show follows the virtual judging round, which finished last week after two weeks of intense activity by the AWARD Awards juries, and the Grand Award judging which was held on Tuesday June 9.

To add to the excitement of the virtual awards show on Friday, the Tipsy app will once again come into play, following its popular AWARD Awards debut last year from creators Special Group and Nakatomi.
