If you’re trying to break into the creative industries, The New Blood Festival is the place to be in July. 4,000 industry professionals from leading advertising agencies, design groups and brands visit the Festival, looking to recruit new creators.
Of course, a trip to London isn’t possible for every New Blood creative. But there’s a way to get your work seen if you can’t.
Enter your portfolio in D&AD’s open call for entries for the opportunity be featured at the New Blood Festival 2019 and online. D&AD is looking for portfolios from current students or recent graduates (within three years). This includes mature students. You can be based anywhere in the world.
To submit your portfolio, use promo code DANDAD2019 to set up your online Squarespace portfolio, then share the link to your portfolio on your Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #NewBloodByTheBook and tagging the New Blood Instagram @newblood_dandad or Twitter @dandadnewblood.
To be eligible for the open call you must use the New Blood social handle and the hashtag in your post. The deadline is June 28.
D&AD and Squarespace will be selecting their highlights to be exhibited digitally at the Squarespace showcase at the festival, so make sure that your portfolio shows what you can do.
