At the centre of Berlin Commercial was STATE OF TASTE, a live panel exploring why taste may be one of the most valuable creative advantages left in an industry increasingly shaped by algorithms and artificial intelligence, hosted by Shawn Thomson, business partner, YKONE. The panel brought together knowledge from across the creative landscape, including:
- Lucy Thorpe, Head of Branded Content Editorial, Highsnobiety

- Kopeto, photographer and visual storyteller
- Curro Piqueras Parra, Chief Creative Officer, DUDE London

The programme also featured PLAYBACK: MAKING THE MODERN-DAY MUSIC VIDEO, a headline talk presented with DENIM and BWGTBLD, featuring Christian Tyler, Cameron Frengopoulos, Glenn Michael, Alex Acy and Shane Patrick. The community will also continue through its sister event at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival, the curated stage event that brings together the worlds of fashion, film, advertising and visual culture.
