Cars are major polluters. The car industry is a major polluter. Many car brands, however, are doing their bit to look after the world in awareness campaigns. Now French auto maintenance chain, Norauto, is joining them.
Norauto, BETC Paris and customer service specialist team, BETC Fullsix, have housed their awareness campaign in a classic father and daughter story about learning. The message, delivered with gentle humour, is that you’re never too old to learn and the planet needs everyone to learn about looking after it.
Jerome Dumont, marketing communication leader at Norauto, stated, “We have the conviction at Norauto that cars are still a great way of achieving freedom for everyone. This new brand strategy highlights Norauto’s commitment in dealing with the new challenges that car drivers are facing. That’s why we came up with simple and accessible solutions to help them transition towards a more sustainable future. With our new positioning, we needed an ad campaign that broke away from what is currently done in our industry, so that we can reinforce our leadership position and show our commitments to the people and the whole set of solutions that we have for a more responsible road. Teams at BETC understood the assignment.”

The campaign, with its 90-second hero film, Moving you every mile of the way, highlights the services and commitments of Norauto and is a first step for the brand in affirming its new brand mission – mile after mile, we also drive motorists forward.
Jean-Patrick Spitz, vice-president of BECT Paris & BETC Fullsix, added,”This new brand platform and this new ad campaign illustrate in a sincere way the essential role that Norauto is playing in the lives of car drivers.”

Olivier Apers, vice-president, executive creative director of BETC Paris & BETC Fullsix, concluded, “To launch this new campaign that we wanted to be true, authentic, and in accordance with the reality of today’s car drivers. Whatever age we are, it is not easy to change. But we all believe that we would like to become better drivers.”

The film’s soundtrack is the hit single, Words, written and sung by F.R. David.
