BMF has been appointed lead creative agency for Tourism Tasmania.
The Sydney agency was one of sixty agencies to respond to the initial tender, which was then shortlisted to four. BMF was appointed alongside lead digital agency, Clemenger BBDO Sydney.
Tourism Tasmania Chief Marketing Officer, Emma Terry, noted, “The work we have seen from the initial expression of interest through to the pitch has given Tourism Tasmania absolute confidence that we have secured the best possible team to partner with.”
The agency’s job will be to support Tourism Tasmania’s marketing program in promoting Tasmania as a premium destination. Its aim will be to deliver best-in-class state tourism marketing.
BMF managing director, Steve McArdle, commented, “The Tourism Tasmania marketing team share our belief in the power of long ideas and from the first meeting, we felt a chemistry we knew would translate into a successful, enduring, relationship.”
BMF executive creative director, Alex Derwin, added, “From the moment we first visited Tassie, we knew there was something special about this untamed island – 1600kms away from our offices in Pyrmont and a world away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Capturing the spirit of Tassie in our creative thinking, means the work will ultimately speak for itself.”
