Just when you thought perfume advertising could not get any sillier, Burberry releases Burberry Hero.
This is its blurb (by Burberry)
“The campaign challenges the traditional stereotypes of masculinity, bringing a horse and a man together to create a modern myth amongst an awe-inspiring landscape, exploring our codes of duality and the power of the animal kingdom. Through this vivid metaphor, we delve into the story of someone leaping into the unknown, overcoming challenges and transforming into something new, while remaining true to himself.”

The ad features American Star Wars actor, Adam Driver, and was directed by Academy Films’ Jonathan Glazer, who also shot the famous Guinness Surfer commercial. It is set to FKA Twigs’ Two Weeks. It is the first fragrance release by Burberry chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci.
