Burger King has joined the World Cup buzz with a French campaign that began as a teaser on Twitter on November 26 and ended up as a two-minute spot at half time during the France vs Denmark FIFA World Cup game.
The fun by Buzzman reignites the popular argument about which fast food item is tops. It begins with a private conversation in a restaurant but escalates quickly as other diners jump in and even the police intervene. As it turns out, they are all at Burger King as the original couple admit that the Whopper reigns supreme…
…but not before every other brand imaginable has been proposed and rejected.
The spot is running in France as 60- and 30-second cutdowns.
