It’s horror movie watching season and Disney+ wants to be the place where horror is seen. So creative agency, Callen, has produced a special chair, the EDGEOFYØR Seat, to keep viewers literally on the edge of their seats while watching Huluween content, produced with furniture innovator, Fyrn.
The satirical variation of its award-winning Mariposa chair is solid wood finished in charcoal black and paired with Fyrn’s patented brackets in copper bronze. With 80% of the product hacked away, the EDGEOFYØR Seat is the perfect complement to any Huluween scare-a-thon, creating a viewing experience a couch could never deliver. It leaves leaves brave souls (and bums) quite literally on the edge – with nowhere to hide from the scares on screen.
Coinciding with the introduction of the physical chair, is a 30-second social film called Chainsaw, imagining the sinister creation of the EDGEOFYØR Seat.
“Huluween on Disney+ delivers the kind of scares that keep you on the edge of your seat – so we carved away the rest,” stated Zack Jerome, VP, brand and marketing strategy at Disney+. “The EDGEOFYØR Seat is a tongue-in-cheek reminder that during Huluween, there’s literally no way to sit back and relax.”

“Fyrn has always been about craftsmanship and storytelling. We don’t often create conceptual pieces, but reimagining our Mariposa chair as the EDGEOFYØR Seat was a chance to apply our craft to a more playful brief. It’s a limited-edition concept, built with the same care and attention to detail that defines all of our work. We’re excited to see it bring an extra layer of suspense to this year’s Huluween on Disney+,” added David Charne, CEO and co-founder at Fyrn.
