35 campaigns from 15 countries have made it into the Cannes Lions 2017 Innovation shortlist. Those campaigns come from Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, India, Japan, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, UK and the USA. Four clients who entered directly – Shell, Apple, Google and Intel – are included.
The US leads the pack with 13 shortlisted entries. The UK has 4.
Australia has 3 shortlisted entries:

- Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney, Rescue Rashie, for Westpac, production by Rumble Studios and Scoundrel.
- Marcel Sydney, Air-Ink for Tiger Beeer, production by Goodoil Sydney, Heckler Sydney, Squeak E Clean LA, Curious Few HK, Flora&Fauna Visions Berlin, MediaVest/Spark NY, Starcom London, Starcom Singapore.
