Carat’s inaugural virtual festival, Couch-ella, may have been planned as a one-off answer to the isolation of lockdown last year for Carat’s people and partners but it was also a huge success. So it has been turned into an annual event and this year’s day of fun content is being held on May 19.
Couch-ella 2021 features an exciting new “real-life” element to celebrate what has been a particularly tough year. Its engaging segments will cover a wide range of themes including comedy, cooking, fashion, life hacks, sports and trivia – and a number of exciting special guests planned across the day. In conjunction with Carat, MKTG, dentsu’s brand experience, sport and entertainment agency, has also returned to bring the event to life.
More than 2000+ people will get to share in the day – clients, media partners, Carat and dentsu staff and journalists. They will have the opportunity to navigate through a wide range of topics, choosing all, or as many as they wish.
Sue Squillace, chief executive officer of Carat ANZ, stated, “We launched Couch-ella as a way to reward our staff and clients during a very tough time in lockdown in 2020 when we all felt disconnected and looking for positive inspiration whilst stuck inside our homes. The feedback from last year’s event was amazing and we are thrilled to have the festival return again this year. The support from our clients and media partners has been extraordinary and we can’t thank them enough for jumping on board and once again uniting the industry.”
15 presenting partners are already confirmed, and Carat will be announcing the complete line-up for the day during the week commencing May 11.
