Juan Maria Fernandez, CICLOPE partner & director of awards, stated, “We are thrilled to have a group of industry change-makers to lead the conversations in this year’s Jury room. They’ll guide the deliberations around craft excellence. These will include debates within the new 2026 Awards categories, which reflect the landscape of the industry at this current moment.
This year’s Jury Presidents come from different backgrounds and share a great deal of experience, authority, boldness, and above all, a commitment to creativity and craft. We can never predict the work the Jury will fall in love with in Berlin, but one thing’s certain: it will be judged by the best, and we can’t wait to see what the industry brings to the table.”
The new structure of the 2026 Awards introduces categories that provide more opportunities than ever for exceptional work to shine. These include new ones highlighting the future of creative work such as: Sustainability and Social Impact in the new For Good section; an expanded Short Film section to include Documentary and Experimental categories; a dedicated AI Craft section, and a brand new Campaign and Craft for Impact categories within CICLOPE Ideas.
