Ciclope Festival, the international festival entirely dedicated to craft skills in advertising, has extended its awards entry deadline by a week from September 9 to September 16.
The festival in Berlin is the flagship event for the world’s top directors, creatives, producers, editors, and composers held annually since 2010. Ciclope brings together the very best of the global creative industry to celebrate the importance of craft. The event offers inspiring talks and sessions with some of the world’s most renowned creatives and the awards show is an outstanding showcase of the best of the year in commercials, music videos and short films.
The shortlist for the 13th annual Ciclope Festival will be announced on October 12 with the Ciclope Festival awards ceremony taking place in Berlin on November 10.
This year’s executive jury includes David Lee, chief creative officer at Squarespace; Julia Neumann, chief creative officer at Johannes Leonardo; Revolver co-owner and managing director, Michael Ritchie; Iconoclast managing director and executive Pproducer, Charlotte Marmion; Melissa Culligan, partner and managing executive producer at Epoch Films; and Lynsey Atkin, 4Creative’s executive creative director.
The grand jury includes Rhea Scott, president and founder of Little Minx; Anna Hashmi, co-founder & executive producer, The Corner Shop, Dustin Callif, managing partner Tool of NA, Elena Argiros, head of music at Academy; and Grant Sithole, chief creative officer at Publicis Groupe South Africa.
Ciclope’s judging process consists of three rounds. The first is undertaken by the Grand Jury, who rank the entries on Ciclope’s online platform. The 10 highest-ranking entries in each category are considered finalists.
In the second round, the executive jury discusses the finalists via video conferencing and award Gold, Silver, and Bronze in each category. The third round takes place in Berlin, where the executive jury comes together in person to choose the Grand Prix awards.

Tickets for the Award Ceremony are only open to those attending the full 3-day conference. The Early Bird fee is available until September 9.
