A decade ago, content was an emerging way for brands to communicate. It is now well and truly embedded in creative communications and the requirement for requirement for high quality, efficient content production tailored to owned and social channels continues to grow.
So Clemenger BBDO Melbourne Group has launched a specialised content offshoot. The new team forms part of Clemenger Studios, the Group’s recently aggregated studio, which offers everything from high-end production through to a rapid direct-to-studio model.
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne Group chief executive officer, Jim Gall, commented, “Clemenger Studios is an important complement to our existing high-end production offer. Content, in all its forms, needn’t be relegated to fast, cheap and low quality. Our new offering provides quality work at a speed and price that passes the value test, all underpinned by the creative DNA of one of the world’s leading creative companies.”
“We firmly believe that content has a greater role to play in generating returns for our clients, particularly when it’s strategically sound and crafted with the care it deserves, which is why we’ve invested in these capabilities, in the caliber of talent and in the technology that sits behind it all to drive greater efficiencies.”
Newly appointed executive content director, Jess Langley, will lead the team beside executive creative director, Stu Shepherd.
Langley brings with her more than 10 years’ experience in the media and film industry, most recently as executive producer at VICE Australia. Shepherd’s 17 years experience as an awarded creative and content creator will provide creative leadership and oversight over the Studios team.
