Clemenger BBDO has broken out of the expected to launch the Galaxy S26 series for Samsung Electronics Australia. It’s housed in a three-episode microdama series designed for social, BVOD, SVOD and Samsung TV Plus, and created entirely on Galaxy devices.
The series, The Elephant in the Room, taps into the rapid rise of short-form storytelling, following a young office worker navigating workplace tensions while racing to solve a high-stakes mystery. Of course, it’s not all for fun. Products are featured into the story. It’s a (at times) thinly veiled product demonstration.
The campaign extends into a major OOH execution, that includes a market-first takeover of Sydney’s Central Station Central Walk, running from early March through to late May, that will reach more than 4.4 million monthly visitors with 3D screens, walkway branding and floor media. Audio partnerships, include the Galaxy S26 features woven into popular Australian podcasts including Hamish & Andy via LiSTNR and Shameless Media’s Everyone Has a Secret. Finally, Samsung hosted retail activations across flagship experience stores in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, featuring live demos, AI-powered photo experiences and promotional giveaways.
