Rush, rush, rush, rush. It’s the way of the world. And it’s not safe. Not safe for your money. BNZ wants Kiwis to know that scammers depend on it.
So Colenso BBDO presents them with 30 calming seconds of a snail rising into view in slo-mo, followed by a tortoise ambling along, and finally a reveal showing the snail’s on the turtle’s back, adding just a few words for viewers to attend to as well: “Scammers want you to rush. Our app security features let you take your sweet time.”…
…and of this calmness is underlined by a languid reimagined version of Buffalo Springfield’s For What It’s Worth performed by New Zealand musician Jon Toogood.
Well done to the controlled restraint of director, Glue Society, giving the commercial all the power a great idea held as potential.

The full campaign covers TV, cinema, OOH, social, digital and owned channels.
