Adults, it’s over. You are no longer the font of knowledge for your kids. Their question may be naive, but how they find answers isn’t. Little Can be Huge, says New Zealand telco, Spark through the creativity of Colenso BBDO.
An adorable revolution is happening under our eyes thanks to voice technology. And Colenso has turned it into an adorable film.
Colenso’s new campaign under Spark’s ongoing Little Can be Huge platform is a montage of kids showing the power of voice assistance with their questions, which range from, “If I pee in the pool will it really change colour?”, to “Will vegetables make me taller?”.
Sarah Williams, head of brand, communications & experience at Spark, commented, “Today’s kids are going to grow up with voice assistants as a normal part of their lives, just like 90s kids did with mobile phones, and 80s kids with the internet. Voice is another leap forward in the opportunities this generation is going to have, and that’s incredibly exciting to us.”
“We love seeing empowered, curious kids,” added Mike Davison, creative director at Colenso BBDO.
“There’s this magic age range between about 4 and 7 years old, when kids are still learning to read, but are weirdly more tech-savvy than many grown-ups. This is where the power of voice comes alive.”
The launch film, Generation Voice is Here, will be followed by out of home, a social campaign and a series of 15 second films focussing on each of the children.
