Toyota’s Spanish-language holiday commercial by Publicis Groupe’s US Latino agency, Conill, is a parent-magnet, and a fun twist on Christmas’ naughty or nice lists. A mischievous boy atones for his naughtiness to stay off Santa’s naughty list, aided by au understanding dad. A 2024 Toyota Tundra plays a background role.
The commercial made its debut during American Spanish-language television channel, Telemundo’s inaugural broadcast of Christmas in Rockefeller Centre, with Toyota as the presenting sponsor.
“Beneath the playful tale of a boy making amends to stay on Santa’s ‘nice’ list, the spot is truly about the bonds and values that define family,” stated Conill chief creative officer, Veronica Elizondo. “We set out to create a light-hearted and relatable story that highlights how the holidays bring families together, no matter what unexpected challenges arise. It’s heartfelt, funny, and carries just the right amount of charm to stand out from traditional holiday ads.”


The commercial will run on broadcast and cable networks in the US from December 10 through December 24 and the campaign will also feature a range of digital sponsorships.
